“Captain Mo”
Originally hailing from Umhlanga, South Africa where he grew up surfing the awesome waves on the east coast and now living in the USA. He started surfing at the age of 7 and has competed all over the world, which has taken him to some of the best waves the world has to offer. He has been a surf coach for over 20 years from a beginner to a competitive level and coaches the local Thurston Middle School Surf Team. Mo is also CPR and First Aid Certified.

“Professor Sli Dawg”
Steven “Sli Dawg” Chew was born and raised in Laguna Beach has been a part of the line up since he was a grom. Known for his smooth and unique style, he is one of the great surfers to come out of this surf town. Sli Dawg has traveled internationally, surfing some of the best waves in the world. He is an ex-pro surfer as well as a very well know and respected artist in Laguna Beach. He is the director of Sli Dawg Surf Camp and the leader of wacky, snacky, attacky Friday runs to Circle-K.

cayla Henderson
“Bumble Bee”
Born and raised in Laguna Beach, and the daughter of local waterman legend, Chris Henderson. Cayla has been surfing for the last fifteen years and is now one of the head coaches for the girls Thurston Middle School Surf Team. She has been teaching and coaching surf, skim boarding, boogie boarding, and ocean safety for six years. She is also CPR and First Aid Certified. After graduating Laguna Beach High School, she has traveled but spent most of her time working as an au pair and surfing the North Shore of Kauai. You can also find her working at the oldest surf shop in town, Laguna Surf and Sport, where she will dial you in with all the surf essentials.
